Village of Saint Paul de Vence - Hôtel Le Royal Nice

A break between sea and mountains

The hinterland of Nice is unique not only in France, but also in Europe. Europe's highest coastal village, for example, rises to an altitude of 780 meters. The combination of sea, mountains, Provencal culture and international renown make this region a real treasure. The team at Le Royal, your hotel in Nice, has selected just a few of the gems for a truly exceptional getaway.

Enter into communion with nature

During your stay in Nice, head for the Parc du Mercantour, between Nice's high and mid-range mountains. Get up close to the animals for an unforgettable experience with the wolves of the famous Parc Alpha. Less well known but just as stunning, the Monts d'Azur biological reserve will win you over with its European bison, wild horses, deer and many other animals for a unique European safari. The icing on the cake is that both parks are open all year round.
