Every year, the capital of the French Riviera lives at the rhythm of parades and flower battles.
An exceptional event, which attracts about 600,000 spectators per edition. On the organization side, the numbers are dizzying:
- 4,000 working hours spread over 6 months,
- 20 tons of confetti
- 100,000 flowers launched to the public during the battle of flowers
- 18 tanks, 8 to 16 meters high
- More than 1000 dancers and singers will illuminate the city.
A colorful and festive Week end in Nice
Between the parades of the floats, the flower battles and the many shows, the carnival ensures the festival for two weeks, in a warm and colorful atmosphere.
Come and have fun amid giants and confetti explosions. And if you are disguised, you can attend the evening corso for free and parade on the Place Massena.
Fireworks on the beach
The carnival ends each year with the incineration of the king, the king of the media for the 2016 edition, and a fireworks display on the bay of the Angels.
Closing festivities take place on the last Sunday, February 28 in the evening.
